(VOVworld) - President Truong Tan Sang met with the Ambassadors from Laos, Ghana, and Macedonia who submitted letters of credential in Hanoi on Friday.

While receiving Lao ambassador Thongsavanh Phomvihane, Mr. Sang congratulated Laos for being the Chair of the first term of the ASEAN Community in 2016. He said the two countries need to discuss cooperation and build a 5-year cooperative program to make it more effective.
At a meeting with the Ambassador of Ghana Benjamin Clement Eghand, President Sang said Vietnam and Ghana have seen progress in economic cooperation in recent years. He said the two countries need to maintain and expand cooperation in agriculture and telecommunications which are Vietnam’s strengths.
While receiving Macedonian ambassador Ilija Isajlovski, President Sang asked relevant agencies of the two countries to prepare for the upcoming visit to Vietnam by the Macedonian President. Sang said the visit is expected to open a new chapter for bilateral ties.
