(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang will attend Asian-African Conference in Jakarta on Wednesday at the invitation of his Indonesian counterpart Joko Widodo.

Vietnamese President will attend the Asian-African Conference in Jakarta on April 22-24, 2015.

He will also attend the Commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of the Asian-African Conference (known as the Bandung Conference) and a celebration of 10 years of the New Asian-African Strategic Partnership, in Bandung City, Indonesia.
Through this conference, Vietnam hopes to work with Asian and African countries to uphold the Bandung principles and principles of international law, enhance multifaceted co-operation with Asian and African countries, and strengthen its strategic partnership with Indonesia.
This year’s conference is themed “Strengthening South-South co-operation to promote world peace and prosperity.”
