(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang began an official visit to Azerbaijan on Thursday to foster a closer friendship and more fruitful cooperation between Vietnam and Azerbaijan.
Sang was welcomed in the capital city of Baku by the Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Vietnam, and the Vietnamese Ambassador to Azerbaijan.
The visit, made at the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev, aims to deepen the bilateral ties for the benefit of the two peoples.
