President urges Tien Giang’s synergy strength for collective economic development
(VOVWORLD) - President Nguyen Xuan Phuc has emphasized the Communist Party of Vietnam’s policy which considers state economy and collective economy the solid foundation of the national economy.

Working with the Mekong Delta province of Tien Giang on Wednesday, President Phuc called for continued reform to improve the efficiency of the collective economy, which he said requires better mechanisms to meet practical needs.
Tien Giang province has changed significantly over the past 20 years of renewal with improved efficiency of its collective economy, especially the new agricultural cooperative model.
President Phuc asked Tien Giang to capitalize on its resources more effectively, develop tourism economy, circular economy, and green economy, and pay special attention to the innovative entrepreneurship movement.
Underscoring the inevitable trend of cooperative economic development in Vietnam, the President said Tien Giang needs to adopt policies and laws for cooperative economic development, settlement of capital, quality of management and administration, land issues, and linkages between cooperatives from input to output in agriculture to serve the interests of members and the community.
On Wednesday morning, President Phuc visited the production and business model of My Tinh An dragon fruit cooperative in Cho Gao district.
