President Vo Van Thuong visits Special-Task Arm

(VOVWORLD) -President Vo Van Thuong on Monday inspected the training and combat readiness of the Special-Task Arm on the 79th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army on December 22.

President Thuong underscored the need for the Army and the Special-Task Arm in particular to stay vigilant to respond to any circumstance with the best possible results.
He ordered the building of the force with particularly firm political mettle and high will that are absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people, and ready to take and fulfill tasks in any possible circumstance.
“We plan and must protect the nation early, but we must also be vigilant in all situations. The soldiers’ enthusiastic training is applauded,” said Mr. Thuong.

The State leader said he believes that the Special-Task Arm will perform even greater feats of military action and become comprehensively strong to earn its status as a particularly elite and faithful combat force of the Party, State, army, and people.
