President welcomes new foreign ambassadors
(VOVworld)-State President Truong Tan Sang received credentials by new ambassadors from 6 countries on Tuesday. President Sang told Uruguayan Ambassador Carlos Maria Irigaray Santana that Vietnam will create the best conditions for him to fulfill his mission in Vietnam. Ambassador Santana expressed his wish for further bilateral cooperation in politics, education and agriculture.

Meeting with Indonesian Ambassador Mayerfas, President Sang said Vietnam and Indonesia are moving forward a strategic partnership, which is expected to boost economic and trade ties between the 2 countries and mutual support in international forums.
At a reception for Brazilian Ambassador Victoria Alice Clearver, President Sang said Vietnam is ready to supports Brazil’s bid for a permanent seat of an expanded UN Security Council. Ms. Clearver expressed her confidence that she will contribute to lifting Vietnam-Brazil relations to a new level.
Bolivian Ambassador Gullermo Chalup Liendo presented his credentials to the Vietnamese President and asked for a framework agreement to promote cooperation between the 2 countries. President Sang thanked Bolivia’s support for Vietnam’s WTO membership.
President Sang also received credentials from the ambassadors of Myanmar and Lithuania.
