(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang has urged Bac Giang province to focus on industrial development and agricultural growth in order to ensure social security and national defense.

During a visit on Monday, he said the province should create its own product brands to boost agricultural growth: “Agricultural growth relates to new rural development, which will benefit farmers. It helps to ensure social security and national defense and increase people’s trust in the regime, the party and the state.”

The President said Bac Giang should pay more attention to attracting investment in support and high-tech industries to produce high-value products and generate more jobs. The province was also asked to diversify its markets during the period of Vietnam’s international integration.

President Truong Tan Sang also visited Wintek and Ha Bac Fertilizer and Chemical companies.
