(VOVworld) – The National Assembly Committee for Culture, Education, Youth, Adolescents and Children held a consultation meeting in HCM city on Thursday to discuss the need to revise the Press Law. Committee head Professor Dao Trong Thi said: “It is necessary to revise the Press Law to conform to the Constitution’s regulation on freedom of the press. Some regulations in the current law are unclear so are difficult to implement.”

Delegates analyzed many issues concerning freedom of speech in the media, the management of online information pages and copyright violations, and support policies for sustainable press development.
