(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Journalists Association and the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Child Rights on Monday co-organized a conference on the role of the press in promoting the rights of the child.


The delegates discussed journalists’ ethic and skills in writing about children and child abuse. They agreed that the mass media has reflected multiple issues relating to children, achievements and pending problems in implementing child protection policy. They suggested measures to promote the rights of the child. The two organizations signed a joint working plan in 2014 and 2015.
