(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has led a Vietnamese delegation to attend the 8
th summit of the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Development Triangle in Vientiane on Monday and Tuesday.
The Development Triangle between the border areas of the 3 countries was formed on the initiative of Cambodian Prime Minister Hunsen in 1999. It comprises 13 provinces, 5 of them Vietnamese.
The Prime Ministers of Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam consider the Development Triangle one of the top priorities in development cooperation and an important mechanism for maintaining security and order in border areas.
