(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has urged Hung Yen province, homeland of late Party General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh, to uphold its tradition of growing wealthier.

Working with Hung Yen authorities on Sunday, Mr. Phuc said efforts should be made to develop industry, attract investment, and protect the environment: “The province needs to renew its political determination to improve its business climate and competitiveness so as to encourage business growth and innovation. Hung Yen should attract foreign direct investment in hi-tech and preserving and processing agricultural produce, while creating favorable conditions for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises to generate jobs. The province should work harder to have 16,000 enterprises by 2020, twice the current figure.”
