(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, his wife and his entourage arrived in Hanoi on Saturday, concluding their official visit to Mongolia to attend the 11^th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) summit.

The visit from July 13 to 14 achieved important results and opened a new chapter in the Vietnam-Mongolia relationship. Mr. Phuc held talks with his Mongolian counterpart Jargaltulga Erdenebat, and met President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorij and Parliament Speaker Miyegombo Enkhbold. He witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mongolia’s Alliance of Employers. Mr. Phuc visited the leading wool factory, received President of the Mongolia-Vietnam Friendship Association Sonomish Dashtsevel and talked with the Vietnamese embassy staff and representatives of Vietnamese community in Mongolia. The visit to Mongolia and attendance of the 11^th ASEAM summit by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc demonstrates that Vietnam continues to be a dynamic and responsible member of the international community for peace, prosperity, cooperation and development.
