Prime Minister inspects maintenance of President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
(VOVWORLD) - 2019 marks 50 years of implementing President Ho Chi Minh’s testament and preserving his embalmed corpse, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said at Wednesday’s working session with the Management Board of President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to discuss the Board’s performance in the first half of the year and its annual repair and maintenance plan.

Mr. Phuc said: “The mausoleum’s management board is tasked with preserving and protecting President Ho Chi Minh's body for the long term. To this end, the board should boost cooperation in scientific and technological research and applications.”
Prime Minister Phuc asked for more efforts to organize tours of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the nearby Monument of Heroic Martyrs for revolutionary contributors’ families.
The Mausoleum will reopen for visitors from Thursday after a two month closure for annual maintenance and renovation.
