The Prime Minister urged authorities to complete construction of facilities for the event. He said that although Vietnam successfully organized UN Vesak Day in 2008 and 2014, it should still be careful in its preparations, particularly of meetings and logistics, to ensure the success of this year’s event and make a good impression on foreign friends.

UN Vesak Day 2019 will take place from May 12 to 14, and will draw 10,000 participants from all over the world.
