During his working session with the municipal Party and People’s Committee leaders, the Prime Minister emphasized on the city’s spearhead role in boosting regional economic growth.
“The city’s development will contribution to national economic growth, especially in macro stability, growth recovery and economic restructuring. The city should promote connectivity in industrial, agricultural and service sectors and lead the country in economic development.” said Dung.
Mr. Dung said the global economy next year is predicted to grow higher than in 2013 and the national economy has seen signals of recovery and the macro-economy, inflation, and exchange rate have been stable. These are opportunities for Ho Chi Minh city to boost its growth rate.
