Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc (C) pays tribute to former Lao Prime Minister  Sisavath Keobounphanh

He expressed his deep condolences to the Laotian people and the former Prime Minister’s family. Mr. Phuc wrote in the mourning book: “Comrade Sisavath Keobounphanh  was an excellent leader and outstanding child of the Lao nation and an undaunted revolutionary who devoted his whole life for national independence, people’s freedom and happiness and Laos’ prosperity. He was a great friend of Vietnam.”

On this occasion, Prime Minister  Phuc paid a courtesy visit to Party General Secretary and President of Laos Bounnhang Vorachith and Prime Minister Thoongloun Sisulith. Both sides pledged to strengthen bilateral cooperation on the basis of solidarity and friendship in the context of world uncertainties.
