(VOVWORLD) - Viet Nam expects to receive more UN support in policy and technical advisory to promote high-quality human resource and infrastructure towards a modern high-income country by 2045.

During his reception of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on Saturday, the Prime Minister supports the UN central role and the Secretary General’s personal efforts and initiatives to seek for peaceful solutions in stopping conflicts and instabilities for international peace and security.
The UN Chief agreed to support Viet Nam’s development priorities, including policy advisory on post-pandemic recovery towards green, sustainability and self-reliance.
The Vietnamese Prime Minister recommitted Vietnam’s efforts to achieve net zero by 2050 and no use of coal-fired energy by 2040.
