The PM expressed his pleasure over the encouraging achievements in cooperation between Vietnamese localities and Guangxi, which he said are a bright spot and contributor to the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and China.

In particular, Guangxi has special traditional friendship relations with Vietnam and is also a locality with close economic-trade relations with localities of Vietnam. Trade turnover between Guangxi and localities of Vietnam accounts for a large part of bilateral trade between the two countries.

Prime Minister Chinh asked Guangxi and Vietnam's border provinces to take the lead and promote the spirit of economic-trade cooperation, implement cooperation in tourism, security, defense, and people-to-people exchanges so as to build a border of peace and friendship together.

Mr. Liu said that he would absorb the Prime Minister's guidelines on strengthening the cooperative relationship between Guangxi and Vietnamese ministries and localities, especially border localities.
