Prime Minister receives RMIT President
(VOVWORLD) - RMIT University is the biggest investor of Australia in Vietnam and currently is Vietnam’s biggest investor in education, said Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at a meeting on Thursday with RMIT President Alec Cameron.
The Prime Minister spoke highly of bilateral cooperation in education and training and people-to-people exchanges saying they are the key areas in Vietnam-Australia Strategic Partnership.
The Prime Minister said the Vietnamese government always creates favorable conditions for foreign investors in Vietnam including RMIT. He expressed his belief that RMIT University will continue to develop and become a model to lure other Australian investors to Vietnam.
Professor Alec Cameron promised to continue to work closely with Vietnam adding that RMIT plans to invest additional 100 million Australian dollars in Vietnam and the region. He expressed his hope to receive continued support from the government and more favorable conditions for RMIT University
