The theme of the discussion will be "Farmers are the center in developing agriculture and the rural economy and building green, sustainable new rural areas".

The event, which will be connected online with 63 provinces and cities, takes place shortly after the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union and demonstrates the special attention the Party and State pays to farmers.

The talks, have been held four previous times.
