Prime Minister urges clearing post-holiday backlog
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has praised ministries and provinces’ efforts to ensure a joyful Lunar New Year (Tet) celebration for the people.

The Prime Minister was addressing priorities in the first working days of the Lunar New Year during permanent government members’ meeting on Wednesday, saying “After this briefing, all ministries and provinces staff should go back to work and not go for Tet visits while focusing on clearing backlogs due to the holiday.”
Prime Minister Phuc urged for stronger determination to defeat Covid-19. He said, “The Ministry of Health, the Government Office and provinces, especially Hai Duong, Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City should keep a close watch on the Covid-19 pandemic and social economic situation to consult the Prime Minister and the National Steering Committee for timely responses. Solutions to ensure production and manufacturing as normal in the pandemic should be promoted.”
The Prime Minister called for all-out effort to effectively implement the 13th National Party Congress’ resolutions right from the first quarter of this year.
