(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended an investment promotion conference in Quang Ngai province on Wednesday.

Themed “Quang Ngai: potential and investment opportunities”, the conference laid out policies and incentives to lure investment to Dung Quat economic zone. Mr. Phuc told participants that Quang Ngai needs to pay more attention to human resource development to meet investors’ needs. He said: “Efforts should be made to create an administrative system that works for the investors and the people, and organizational and personnel issues will play a decisive role in this process. Central and local government should create momentum for each employee to better serve investors and the people. Business performance and the number of new jobs are key criteria in how a local administration performs. That’s why we need to give timely and appropriate incentives to those who have successfully undertaken their jobs for the development of Quang Ngai.”

Prime Minister Phuc promised a transparent legal framework and a fair, healthy competitive environment, where the people’s right to ownership is protected. He asked Quang Ngai to listen to and hold regular talks with investors and to link up foreign and domestic companies for mutual development.  

Quang Ngai’s leaders handed out investment certificates to 5 projects worth a total of 200 million USD.
