Programme to promote Vietnam’s tourism in Japan
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) will host a tourism promotion programme in the three Japanese cities of Sapporo, Yokohama and Tokyo from September 6 to 15.
The programme will gather representatives from the administration, international travel agents, airlines, hotels, and resorts.
The event provides an opportunity for participants to introduce Vietnam’s tourist sites, products and services as well as the country’s updated policies on tourism to people and businesses in the host country. It aims to advertise the land and people of Vietnam to international friends and facilitate the cooperation between travel companies of the two countries. Japan has been the third largest tourism market for Vietnam. Vietnam’s tourism sector targets old Japanese tourists and those who can afford luxurious tours, as well as study tours.
