(VOVworld) – Officials from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and Laos are holding working sessions at the international border gates of Lao Bao (Vietnam) and Den Sa Van (Laos) to supervise the application of the model of “one door – one stop” there.

Both sides also organized a seminar on measures to promote the application of this model as well as discussed plans to upgrade the local infrastructure, equipment, and technology. High on the seminar’s agenda included a plan of activities in preparation for the official application of the model on January 1^st, 2015 after a pilot period. They also focused their discussions on ways to deal with pending issues and agreed to submit their proposals to the governments of both sides by this November.
