Putin agrees to IAEA-Russia-Ukraine meeting
(VOVWORLD) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said holding a meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Russia, and Ukraine would be useful, and the meeting could be held by video link or in a third country, according to a Kremlin statement following phone talks between the Russian leader and French President Emmanuel Macron.

Russia’s armed forces have seized control of the Zaporozhskaya and Chernobylskaya nuclear power stations in Ukraine. A fire broke out the Zaporozhskaya plant last Thursday after it received artillery fire.
In response to Macron's concern about the nuclear power plants, Putin said radiation in both areas is still at normal levels. While Russia now controls the area around the plants, Ukrainian workers are still operating the nuclear reactors at the plants.
