(VOVworld) - Korean People's Army (KPA) announced Saturday that it will retaliate against the US-South Korean military exercises.

North Korea's Korean Central News Agency quoted the KPA’s General Staff as saying that its retaliation plan will be preemptive and 'high-density strikes adding that its revolutionary armed forces have been ready to take orders from the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army.

The announcement was made after the Republic of Korea and the US began their annual military drills on Monday on the biggest ever scale.
