India's Foreign Ministry released the information in a statement one day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked on the phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the second call since Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine last week. India had called on Russia and Ukraine to stop intensifying tension.
The statement did not mention Ukraine but said that President Joe Biden, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Prime Minister Kishida Fumio and Prime Minister Scott Morrison are scheduled to discuss major events in the Indo-Pacific. They will also assess current efforts to implement Quad’s action plan.
