(VOVworld)-Quang Ngai province has issued an incentive policy to support offshore fishing collectives. They will benefit from privileges in location, land tax, warehouse services subsidies and training. The province aims to set up a dozen of fishing collectives by 2015. Deputy Chairman of the provincial people’s committee Le Viet Chu: “The organization of offshore fishing and service collectives will facilitate the development of a robust fishing industry. The small and wooden vessels will be replaced by modern high capacity vessels which could stay for a long time in Hoang Sa, Truong Sa and resist to natural disasters.”
