(VOVworld)- The 19^th Party Congress of Quang Ngai province opened on Wednesday drawing the participation of 350 delegates.

In his address, National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong asked the Provincial Party Committee to emphasize economic development, Party building and cultural development in its Party resolution. Phong said that over the next five years, the province needed to tap local potential and mobilize various resources to promote the development of high technology and clean industries and improve local products’ competitiveness. The delegates set the goal of developing Quang Ngai into a modern industrial province.
