(VOVworld)- On Monday, Cam Pha port and logistics company of the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin) in Quang Ninh province loaded 33,700 tons of coal for two ships.

The Hai Phong 19 and Vinacomin Ha Long vessels– the first New Year footers in the port, are to supply coal to Vinh Tan thermal power plant No 2 and Duyen Hai thermal power plant  No 1, respectively. Last year, Cam Pha port handled over 25 million tons of coal, 674,000 tons of which was for exports. It earned more than 37 trillion VND  in revenue. Vinacomin last year turned out 37.6 million tons of coal and sold 35.5 million tons domestically, including 1.26 million tons went overseas. The group plans to earn more than 110 trillion VND from selling 38 million tons of coal, 1.2 million tons of which is for export, in 2016.
