At a meeting with Quang Tri authorities, the Deputy Prime Minister said as Quang Tri is hit the worst by torrential rain and flooding and the weather is forecast to get more complicated, the province needs to strictly implement the Prime Minister’s instructions for natural disaster prevention and control, inspect all reservoirs, and pay attention to protecting people’s lives and property.

He stressed the importance to promptly deploy search and rescue work while ensuring safety for the rescue staff.
