(VOVworld) – A ceremony to present the Red Star award to the most outstanding young entrepreneurs in 2014 was held in Hanoi on Saturday. The awardees generated 16 billion USD last year, contributed 2 billion USD to the state budget, and created jobs for 119,000 people. In his address, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh said: “The government will continue to remove obstacles for business production. I believe that the awardees will continue to be pioneers in Vietnam’s socio-economic development.”

The Red Star award was established in 1999 and has honored nearly 300 young entrepreneurs ever since.
