(VOVworld)-Experts and representatives from 32 provinces and cities gathered at a workshop in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday/ on Monday to discuss renovating the urban administration model of cities in the Southern region.

Renovating urban administration model

Workshop participants agreed on a simple new model clearly defining the mission, function, rights, and obligations  of each level of urban administration and following the orientations and guideline of the Party and the Government. Participants insisted on the urgent need for urban administrations at all levels to clearly define their function and mission and enhance their effectiveness.
