(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s retail market is seeing some promising trends, according to Vu Dang Vinh, CEO of Vietnam Report, which has released its survey on retailers in the COVID-19 period.

Multi-channel retailing, online and in store, is a big trend. As consumer behavior changes due to the coronavirus pandemic, Vietnamese retailers have turned to online shopping platforms, home delivery services, and multi-channel e-commerce. Online sales for retailers like Lottemart have increased as much as 200%, particularly in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Mergers and acquisitions is another huge retailing trend, according to Vietnam Report.
