The French association for the valorization of agricultural products (AVPA) held an award ceremony in Paris last Friday to encourage coffee producers around the world to increase the added value to their products. President of the association Philippe Juglar recognized the high quality of Vietnamese coffee and its strong taste as factors that helped Vietnam win prize at its first participation in the event.
Vu Thi Thu Hang, Director of the Sobica’s market development department, said the two winning Vietnamese coffees were grown in the Central Highlands. She added that the Aroma coffee is a blend of the best Arabica strains in Vietnam and the Intensity coffee is a mixture of Da Lat Arabica and Buon Ma Thuot Robusta.
