(VOVworld) - President Park Geun-hye said on Monday that the Republic of Korea’s doors will remain open to dialogue with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. Park made the remarks during the second session of the presidential preparatory committee for the two Koreas’ unification. She said talks should continue between the two Koreas to ease tensions and establish peace on the Korean Peninsula. The president went on to say that expectations for improved inter-Korean relations arose after a visit by top-level delegates from Pyongyang to Seoul in early October, but the situation on the peninsula worsened after the two Koreas exchanged gunfire last week.
