Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Chairman Nguyen Thien Nhan praises contributions of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations to the national development and gathering of intellectuals both inside and outside the country.

(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations aim to increase cooperation.

In Hanoi on Thursday the Front’s Chairman, Nguyen Thien Nhan, asked the two agencies to design regulations on joint programs for next year.

The programs should focus on collecting more opinions on oversight and criticism rules for the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its members, and on enhancing the role of intellectuals in science and technology as counselors to the Party and government on national development strategies until 2025.

Next year the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations will help the Vietnam Fatherland Front organize seminars and talks with ministries on various topics.
