- The Russian Investigative Committee has received evidence that the Ukrainian army used weapons of mass destruction in southeastern Ukraine, Committee spokesperson Svetlana Petrenko said. Russia’s Sputnik news quoted Petrenko on Monday as saying that the Ukrainian military used the Tochka-U tactical missile system against civilians in the Donbass region.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has reaffirmed Russia’s efforts within the Normandy format to resolve the Ukrainian crisis.
The Normandy format foreign ministers will meet to discuss the situation in Eastern Ukraine during a G20 meeting in Bonn, Germany, on Thursday and Friday.
