(VOVworld)-Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Rayip Erdogan had a telephone conversation on Friday to discuss solutions to the Syrian crisis.

President Erdogan said the Turkish army’s campaign in northern Syria proves its determination in the fight against terrorism, adding that Turkey respects Syria’s territory integrity. The two leaders agreed to accelerate the settlement of the humanitarian crisis in Aleppo. Both sides also agreed to continue active dialogue to fight international terrorism.
