(VOVworld) - Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Saturday after meeting with his Ukrainian, German and French counterparts in Munich, that the ceasefire between Ukrainian army and seceded faction will take effect on Monday.

After announcing the ceasefire at the Munich Security Conference in Germany with the participant of Ukraine, Russia, Germany and French, Lavrov said that it is a positive sign but stressed on the important progresses of the meeting. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin told reporters minutes before Lavrov's statement that he was not at all pleased with the conclusion of Saturday's meeting. German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel said that all parties have agreed to use their influences to implement the truce from February 20.
