Russia is in favor of cooperation on information security with partners
(VOVWORLD) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has called for more involvement of the country in negotiations on information security, saying that Russia is ready to work with all partners, including via the UN.

During a meeting of the Russian Security Council on Friday, he stressed the importance of promoting Russian initiatives and increasing its involvement in the negotiations.
Putin said Russia needs to develop a dialogue on those issues with its closest partners including the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the bloc of emerging economies BRICS, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
