(VOVworld) – Russian President Vladimir Putin attended a ceremony to launch the construction of its 1^st gas pipeline to Asia called “Siberia’s strength”. The project, which would allow for increased hydrocarbon exports and was a major step forward in the gasification of Russia, will supply gas for Russian Far East region and for exports to China. President Putin affirmed that the Siberian strength project will help boost Russian energy security and ensure export duties.
