(VOVworld) - Russia has proposed a 3-step resolution to Syria’s 11-month-long political crisis. At a UN General Assembly session yesterday, Russian UN representative Vitaly Churkin said that first the Arab League observer mission should continue its work in Syria and should add more observers so they can cover all hot spots to supervise a ceasefire. He said the second step is to end the violence through a political dialogue between the government and the opposition. The third step is adopting a new constitution and holding multiparty elections.
