Russia protests foreign interference in Belarus
(VOVWORLD) - Foreign interference in Belarus is worsening its crisis, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during phone conversations with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday.

Mr. Putin made his third phone call in four days to Belarus’s President Alexander Lukashenko to discuss the situation.
The Belarusian Foreign Ministry said Acting Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei and Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto have agreed to keep open channels of contact and dialogue. In a phone call to Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde, Makei discussed Belarus’s vision for cooperation with the EU.
US President Donald Trump on Tuesday said he will discuss Belarus issues with Russia at a suitable time.
President Lukashenko said Belarus has deployed armed forces to its western border.
