Russia ready to improve relations with EU

(VOVWORLD) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said on Thursday that Russia is ready to make peace with the EU and its members on a bilateral basis. 

During a live press conference, Medvedev said the EU lost 220 billion USD by imposing economic sanctions on Russia in 2014. He said Russia-EU trade fell from over 400 billion USD to about 250 billion USD. Medvedev expressed hope that tensions will end and all restrictions will be lifted.
