(VOVWORLD) - A Kremlin spokesperson said Sunday that Russian President Vladimir Putin will respond if the new US administration shows a willingness to talk.

Mr. Dmitry Peskov said the two countries can discuss their differences at a greater length and possibly find ways to improve their relationship.
The White House said last week that President Joe Biden wants to extend the New START arms control treaty for 5 more years.
