Russia to begin COVID-19 vaccine production in November
(VOVWORLD) -The Russian Center for Virology and Biotechnology Vector is planning to begin producing the COVID-19 vaccine in November.

In a televised address, General Director of Vector Center Rinat Maksyutov said that the vaccine developed by this center will be put into use by the end of this year or the first half of next year. Inoculation will start from high-risk groups such as doctors and teachers before mass vaccination.
Russia said another type of COVID-19 vaccine was developed by the Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology Research, called N.F. Gamaleya, in Moscow. The vaccine is expected to go into mass injection in October. The Russian Ministry of Health confirmed that the COVID-19 vaccines will be offered free to all Russians.
