(VOVworld) – Russia will fulfill its agreements with the EU and NATO and hopes Western countries will lift their double standards, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov Wednesday at the Russian Youth “Seliger” Forum. Lavrov insisted that Russia does not want to confront or increase sanctions against the West. He said a cease-fire in Ukraine should not be a “hostage” in negotiation rounds and called for an end to violence, adding that Russia will continue sending humanitarian aid to combat areas in Ukraine.
