(VOVWORLD) - Russia is taking steps to reduce the impact of sanctions and strengthen trade and investment relations with any interested country, giving priority to cooperation to other BRICS countries - China, India, South Africa, and Brazil.

Addressing the BRICS Business Forum, which was held online on Wednesday, President Vladimir Putin said this macroeconomic policy is proving effective and Russia’s financial system, protected from shocks, is beginning to stabilize. The state is mainly focused on stimulating the private sector, reducing the administrative burden, and implementing new preferential loan programs, and tax incentives.
Putin said Russia's strategy is to strengthen its economic, technological, and scientific capability, and it is ready to work with all partners who respect the interests of others, international law, and the equality of nations and peoples.
