(VOVWORLD) - Russia is not going to wage war against Ukraine but will respond in kind, if Kiev carries out a provocation on the border with Crimea, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told a radio station on Monday.

Lavrov said Ukraine is plotting more incitement on its border with Russia and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is planning an armed provocation on the border with Russia, on the border with Crimea this month. He added that it’s not necessary to cut diplomatic ties with Ukraine.
